The Google Search Console Coverage Report tells you lots of information about how Google crawls your web pages and what problems it has found and in broad terms, the more problems, the less likely Google is to keep coming back to your website or show it in search results meaning less website traffic.

You might not be able to fix all of the issues identified in this report yourself, but knowing how to read the report allows you to challenge those you work with and make sure they're doing the right things for your website to help it appear higher in search results, get more traffic and generate more sales.

It's always important to remember though that SEO is not a one trick pony and revisiting this report regularly, as well as the other SEO basics we've covered previously, is what will help you improve over time. Take a look at the video below and don't forget to check out our other 90 Second Knowledge SEO videos for other hints and tips to improve your digital marketing.
