JDR Cable Systems are a national firm who try to support issues in their local communities and this year thay have organised a 2 hour endurance race for teams of 3 at Teesside Karting on Good Friday. They're running the karting event in support of PRASAG (Paul Readhead Asbestos Support Awareness Group), who provide support to sufferers of Mesotheliom, a lung cancer caused by exposure to asbestos.
This is a great cause and £50 from the entry fee of each team will be going to support this great cause.
To enter the event, I've teamed up with fellow SG Petch Sprint Championship drivers Ashley Savidge and Owen Burton both of whom have been competing at Teesside for multiple seasons, competing for race wins and Champioships. It's a really exciting team to be part of and we should hopefully be quick on track.
